This review is from: Confidence Junior Golf Club Set with Stand Bag (Sports) For the price, this is a nice little set. My stepson was upset that it didn't have a driver. But, after going to a lesson at the local golf course, he learned that most starter sets don't have drivers. I also heard them tell the kids that they have to learn to hit irons first, and they discouraged kids from trying to hit the woods. So, aside from not having a driver in the set, I would say this is a great deal for the money. Especially if you want your child to learn the right way to play golf and not how to just take the biggest club and whack at the balls. My kid loves these. He feels grown up carrying his own bag. The clubs were great for lessons this summer. No complaints. He turned 7 at the beginning of summer and is an average sized kid. These have a couple summers in them. UPDATE summer 2010 - Yep, got another summer out of these clubs. He is now 8 and still using them. I received the clubs very quickly after ordering and could not wait until my son unwrapped his new clubs. You can find righty junior golf club sets, but it's much harder to find leftys. I was hoping these would be clubs our sons could take to the course to hit some balls with my husband and I. Instead, they have metal shafts (which is what I was expecting), but the heads are hard plastic (not what I was expecting.) The 'deluxe bag' is hardly deluxe, the balls are plastic, and the tees are hardly long enough to stick in the ground. For $40, I thought I was getting a deal, but instead I feel ripped off. I went to Walmart and paid $50 for FOUR clubs that are all metal, and came with a bag too!
